While the weekend break on the shooting of Emperor, we though on the making of a really little tiny biography about director Peter Webber and the lead actors of Emperor, Matthew Fox, Tommy Lee Jones and Eriko Hatsune. A really brief biography, but at least show us a little bit about were they are in the movie bussiness.
PETER WEBBER
Se hizo un nombre en el mundo del cine con su primera película "Girl with a Pearl Earring" (2003) con la que ganó numerosos premios siendo nominado ademas en los Oscar de Hollywood, los Golden Globe Awards. Posteriormente dirigió "Hannibal Rising" (2007). Además de varios films para televisión ha dirigido varios cortos, entre ellos Jasim, que explica la historia del fundador de Qatar, Jasim Al Thani.
His debut film was with "Girl with a Pearl Earring" (2003) with which he won numerous awards and also was nominated at the Academy Awards and The Golden Globes Awards.
Later he was choosed to direct "Hannibal Rising" (2007). Among several TV films Peter has directed some shortfilms, as Jasmin, who tells the story of the founding father of Qatar, Jasim Al Thani.

MATTHEW FOX
Matthew Fox debutó en televisión con la serie Wings (1992). Más tarde fue el mayor de los hermanos ,Charlie Salinger en "Party of five" (1994-2000) que ganó el Golden Globes Award como mejor serie en 1996.Tras un descanso de dos años fue el protagonista de la serie "Haunted" en el papel de Frank Taylor, investigador privado. Y ya en 2004 fue escogido para protagonizar a Jack Shephard en la altamente aclamada y reconocida serie Lost (2004-2010). En el cine hizo su debut con "We are Marshall" (2006) a las que siguieron "Speed Racer" (2008) y "Vantage Point" (2008).
En 2011 debutó teatralmente como protagonista (habia hecho anteriormente obras menores) con el prestigioso director Neil LaBute en la obra "In a Forest Dark and Deep" junto a Olivia Williams, en la que prácticamente todas las criticas alabaron su actuación.
Matthew tambien dirigió el episodio de "Party of five" "Taboo or not Taboo" (2000).
Matthew Fox debuted on the TV series Wings (2002). Lataer he played the oldest brother Charlie Sainger in "Party of Five" (1994-2000) which won the Best TV series Golden Globes Award in 1996. After a two years break he acted as the main role in "Haunted" (2000) Frank Taylor as a private investigator. And it was in 2004 when he was choosed to play Jack Shephard in the highly acclaimed and recognized series "Lost" (2004-2010). Matthew debuted in a movie film with "We are Marshall" (2006) and lated he played in "Speed Racer" (2008) and "Vantage Point" (2008).
In 2011 he made his theatrical debut as a lead character (previously he acted in a few minor plays) in "In a Forest Dark and Deep" directed by the prestigious Neil LaBute alongside Olivia Williams,in which almost all critics praised his performance.

TOMMY LEE JONES
Tommy Lee Jones tiene una vasta biografía como actor, pero tambien ha dirigido, producido e incluso ha puesto música a alguna película. Es difícil incluir aqui su extensa biografia, poco hay que decir de él que no se haya dicho ya. Entre toda su extensa carrera habría mucho a destacar, películas de muchísimo prestigio, se podría mencionar Jackson County Jail (1976), Natural Born Killers (1992), Rolling Thunder (1977), The Big Town (1987) y No Country for Old Men (2007). Dirigió "The three Burials of Melquiades Estrada" para el cine y algún film para televisión.
Tommy Lee Jones has an extensive biography as an actor, but has also directed, produced and even scored music for a movie. It is difficult to include here his extensive biography, little need be said of him that has not been said already. Among all his long career would have much to stand out,he has much prestige films on his own. We could mention as example Jackson County Jail (1976), Natural Born Killers (1992), Rolling Thunder (1977), The Big Town (1987) and No Country for Old Men (2007). Como Webber dijo, poco conocemos de esta actriz Japonesa además de su papel en la película "Norwegian Wood" (2007), el resto de su carrera cinematográfica ha transcurrido en Japón por lo que nos es totalmente desconocida, así que no más podemos aportar, de momento, sobre ella, solo esperar que si alguna vez lee ésto sepa entendernos.Así que nuestras disculpas Eriko.
As Webber said, we barely know about this Japanese actress besides his role in the film "Norwegian Wood" (2007) . His film career has been mainly in Japan so is very unknown for us, so we can't post so much about Eriko, by now, and we can just wait that if she ever reads this, she can understand us. So aour apoligies Eriko.
